Laduree Salon at Harrods

I am definitely going back. These French macaroons are to die for. My favorites are pistacchio, coffee, madagascar chocolate, caramel and vanilla. It was the perfect post mother's day pre birthday treat for my mother. As they say in French, this is not au revoir.

i had two (vanilla and coffee) not realizing one is enough to fill me up.

had my macaroon with ceylon tea.

mama had her croissant (still very french) and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Nail Colors

I was never a nail polish person. Lately though, I have realized that I am getting obsessed with painting my nails. It makes me feel so feminine and besides, my nails look really nice in pictures. Before, I have always loved baby pink on my nails but have experimented with reds lately and I am loving the color. Last weekend, I attended a friend's birthday party and this is what I had on my nails. It's called "Ali's Big Break" from OPI, a very good brand of nail polish.

I love the fact that it has glitters on it. This will have to be my current favorite, until of course, when I get my hands on some Chanel Riva.

A Treat

I bought myself this...for getting The Job. What's inside? It's for me to know and for you to find out.

Two Lipsticks,Two Different Shades

I treated myself to a couple of new lipsticks recently. My Dior one is almost finished and I thought i needed not one but two lipsticks in different shades.
I bought Chanel in Fatale which is a very dark shade of red. I fell in love with the packaging. You press the top and the tube pops out. Amazing. Little things amaze me. The other one is Rimmel London shade number 260. I saw a colleague wearing it and i loved it on her. On me, it's too pinky but with a touch of gloss, it balances it out.

Two lipsticks, two shades at opposite price ranges.

Jimmy Choo Perfume

Jimmy Choo is synonymous with shoes. Since the day Tamara Mellon plucked him out of obscurity, he has become a household name as far as shoe lovers are concerned. The brand has branched out from shoes to handbags and now, perfumes.
Tamara Mellon, co-founder and former CEO of Jimmy Choo, doubles as the model. She use to date Christian Slater.
I am very curious what the scent is like.Hope it doesn't smell like feet. Joking aside, as i have mentioned in my earlier entry, i have been looking for a signature scent. This might be it though i haven't really tried it. We are going to Debenhams tomorrow and I have some vouchers to spend. Who knows i might come home with a bottle or two.
