my Aptamil baby is two!

this week i'm buying...

ear muffs.because the winter started really early this year, i would need these babies to keep my ears toastie when walking from work to pick up my two year old from the childminder. this red burberry one is just divine but i will probably just get one from the high street. money is tight.

these babies arrived on tuesday, just two days before my birthday. this pair is my DH's birthday present and i adore them. i am so into shoe boots lately that i acquired two pairs in the last 3 days. the other pair is my birthday present to myself. i haven't broken into them yet and i can' t wait to debut them probably this sunday. now all i have to think about is the outfit.

The Real OC

my almost two year old has a habit of putting things in order. i think she got my OCness. if there is such a word.

she always puts her rubber ducks side by side in the bathroom after she takes a bath...

and she stacks her plastic cups after she brushes her teeth. without being told. i did  not know, being OC is hereditary.

since i ran out of my day moisturizer, i have been wanting to buy and try clarins. the thing is you can't always buy this product anywhere. it's normally just available in debenhams. so on the weekend that we visited mk shopping center, i made sure i buy one. i was lucky because they have a promo on that day. with one skincare product, you get for free, a mascara, beauty balm and facial exfoliator. i have used the moisturizer for a week now and haven't seen any dramatic changes to my skin. i spent a fortune on this product and it works just as good as my cheaper alternative Olay day moisturizer which even comes with spf 15.  if by the time i finished the pot and i don't see any major changes then i'll go back to my ever trusted Olay moisturizer.

lesson learned. just because something is expensive does not mean it is good. though i swear on my Chanel foundation.
